Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Senior Developer Advocate focused on content creation to educate and inspire our global user base. You will produce deep-dive technical videos, covering Elasticsearch, AI and observability, and connect them with developers and partners.

You’ll collaborate with distributed teams, explore integrations with LLMs, frameworks and cloud providers, and publish open‑source demos showing end-to-end workflows.

Qualifications

• A proven track record of creating highly technical and engaging videos — share your best work (mandatory).
• Strong technical background with hands-on engineering experience.
• Empathy for the community and ability to surface feedback.
• Comfortable working with a highly distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical videos focused on search, AI/ML, observability and Elasticsearch as a platform.

• Prototype and publish sample apps showing end-to-end Search + AI or observability use cases.
• Bring a creative twist to Elastic's content to engage existing users and reach new audiences.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams from hands-on experience and community interactions.

• Publish deep-dive videos that connect search, vector databases, and agentic workflows. Or covers observability with logs, metrics, and traces including the OpenTelemetry perspective.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in search and AI or observability to cover what’s new and exciting for our users.
• Build open-source demos and example applications on GitHub that combine Elasticsearch with developer and AI tools.
• Contribute to Elasticsearch Labs and our YouTube channel.

The DevRel team's mission is to educate and help our users succeed by being an expert in Elasticsearch and the Search + AI or observability ecosystem.

• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on your hands-on experience and community interactions.

What You Bring:
