Telecom Acquisitions Ltd. in Horsham is seeking a Senior PHP Developer to own and deliver scalable digital solutions across marketing and customer journeys.

You will design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications, integrate RESTful APIs, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software. The role requires strong full‑stack PHP expertise, Linux/Apache, SQL, and experience with cloud deployments and modern frameworks.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a Full-Stack PHP Developer with expertise across PHP, Apache/Ngnix, SQL, and Linux environments.
• Proven experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party services, alongside deploying and managing applications within Cloud infrastructure.
• Strong database expertise, including schema design, query optimisation, data integrity, and performance.
• Excellent development and problem‑solving skills, with experience testing, troubleshooting, resolving bugs, and delivering clean, maintainable code.
• A collaborative approach, with experience working alongside developers and business stakeholders within Agile development environments to deliver effective technical solutions.

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

About the Role

We're looking for a skilled and proactive Senior PHP Developer to join our Development team, taking ownership of technical solutions that support our digital platforms, customer journeys, and wider business objectives.

In this role, you'll design, develop, test, and maintain PHP-based applications and integrations, working closely with Marketing and stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into effective, scalable solutions. You'll enhance existing functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve the performance, reliability, and user experience of our platforms.

What we are looking for

Essential:

Demonstrable experience as a Full-Stack PHP Developer, with strong expertise across PHP, Apache/Ngnix, SQL, and Linux environments.

Proven experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and third‑party services, alongside deploying and managing applications within Cloud infrastructure.

Strong database expertise, including schema design, query optimisation, data integrity, and performance.

Excellent development and problem‑solving skills, with experience testing, troubleshooting, resolving bugs, and delivering clean, maintainable, and efficient code.

A collaborative approach, with experience working alongside developers and business stakeholders within Agile development environments to deliver effective technical solutions.

Desirable:

Strong JavaScript experience, alongside PHP and modern full‑stack development practices.

Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, with a strong understanding of database design and querying.

Experience with modern frameworks and libraries, including Laravel, Vue, Livewire, and Alpine.

Experience working within Ubuntu, Docker, and/or Azure environments, including application deployment and infrastructure support.

Proficient in Git and version control, with experience working collaboratively across development environments.

Experience writing automated unit and feature tests to support code quality, reliability, and maintainability.

Good understanding of CI/CD practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.

Experience developing, maintaining, or integrating CMS platforms and third‑party systems, including HubSpot.
