Job summary

TESTQ Technologies Limited is seeking a Senior Developer to design, code, test and refine software across multiple platforms. You will translate complex designs into robust solutions and prepare comprehensive documentation for users and developers.

You will provide technical direction to Junior and Mid-Tier Developers and drive architecture decisions. 7+ years of relevant experience is required, with strong background in Java/J2EE, web, databases and scripting.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in all the requisite responsibilities and technologies.
• Senior Developer must also provide technical direction and leadership to Junior and Mid-Tier Developers.

Job description

Analyzes functional business applications and design specifications. Develops block diagrams and logic flowcharts. Translates detailed design into computer software. Codes, tests, debugs, maintains and refines the computer software to produce the required product. Prepares required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation. Enhances software to reduce operating time and improve efficiency.

Working under the direction of a Technical Lead / Project Lead or Project Manager a Senior Developer possesses all the technical expertise and can perform all of the responsibilities of a Mid-Tier Developer. A Senior Developer must also:

• Have experience developing and deploying complex application software on multiple platforms (e.g., Mainframe, Client Server, WEB) using various methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Provide technical direction and leadership to Junior and Mid-Tier Developers, as required

At least 7 years of experience in all the requisite responsibilities and technologies
