Lloyds Banking Group in Manchester is hiring a Senior Detection & Response Engineer to defend a major UK financial institution against evolving cyber threats. You will lead complex investigations, provide technical leadership, and develop detection and response capabilities in a hybrid work environment.
You will drive threat hunting, proactive security activities and act as an authority on security engineering, shaping policies and investments to strengthen cyber resilience.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of our office sites.
Help defend one of the UK’s largest organisations against evolving cyber threats. As a Senior Detection & Response Engineer within our Cyber Defence Centre, you’ll play a key role in protecting the organisation from cyber threats as a senior individual contributor.
You’ll combine deep technical expertise across detection and response engineering, complex investigation management and cyber defence capability development. Working closely with engineers and senior technical colleagues, you’ll help shape solutions, influence technical decisions and strengthen our resilience against a constantly changing threat landscape.
