Two Point Studios sizzled into existence in the summer heat of 2016 with a goal to create amazing, deep simulation games that not only remain accessible to everyone, but also don't take themselves too seriously - we call them our little people games! In 2018, our hard work came to fruition and Two Point Hospital was born into the world to much acclaim. After Hospital we had a dream of creating an entire world of these little people games within the place we call "Two Point County", and in 2022 our latest game Two Point Campus was released. The Senior Designer/Writer role

Two Point Studios is seeking a Senior Designer/Writer to join our team and help bring our wonderful and charming world to life. You\'ll work closely with our design and writing teams to design game features, craft level scenarios and challenges, and write text and dialogue for the game. If you\'re equal parts game designer and writer, you love building worlds, and you have a keen sense of humor, we\'d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work as part of the design & writing team, reporting to a design lead.
• Design game features, create level scenarios and objectives, craft tutorials and challenges, and contribute to the narrative design.
• Write in-game text and dialogue. Implement text and VO into the game. Manage voice recordings when required. Collaborate with other writers.
• Work closely with the production & design team to help determine the design and writing requirements for the project, track progress, and refine our processes.
• Create documentation for use by the team and as deliverables for key milestones.
• Collaborate with the team to create characters, locations, items, and more, and inject our brand of charm and humor. Help build and curate the world of Two Point County, and incorporate existing lore.
• Work with designers, writers and artists to ensure writing and narrative elements marry up with gameplay systems, art assets, and the pillars of the game.
• Work with the engineering team and others to ensure game features are implemented as intended, and to improve our tools for design, writing and localization.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years\' experience in a design or writing role for games.
• An excellent personality, a good sense of humor, and a collaborative mindset.
• An ability to see the funny side of almost anything.
• Great verbal and written communication skills.
• Great organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple complex tasks, prioritizing work sensibly.
• Ability to self-manage and generate tasks, spot issues and fix them.
• A desire to review and iterate extensively in response to feedback.
• A love of playing a variety of games especially in the Management/Simulation genre.

• Experience playing Two Point Hospital, Two Point Campus and Two Point Museum.
• Experience using Unity in any capacity.
• Experience with scripting tools and level design.
• Experience in a narrative design role.
