Role Description
Knots Rugs is seeking a Senior Designer to work closely with the Creative Director on high-end luxury projects across the UK and internationally. This role involves designing collections, collaborating with artists, customising existing pieces, and developing bespoke rugs for major interior design houses.
Candidates must have experience within the hand‑knotted rug industry, with an exceptional understanding of colour, composition, and design development.
This is a full-time, on‑site position. As Senior Designer, you will drive innovation, lead design projects from concept through production, and ensure all work is delivered to the highest standards. You will also act as a brand ambassador, building strong client relationships and representing Knots Rugs at key industry events.
Additional Expectations
As part of a small, close‑knit team, the role includes a broad range of responsibilities. You must be comfortable contributing across the business, overseeing design‑led projects, and helping identify commercial opportunities. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.
Hours : Monday–Friday, 10am–6pm (occasional Saturdays possible)
