Job summary

Benchmark Mineral Intelligence in London is seeking a Senior Designer to cover a maternity leave on a 14-month FTC. You will own the creative vision, translate data into compelling visuals, and collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, Editorial and Leadership.

As the sole designer, you'll shape Benchmark's brand across digital, print, events and editorial, ensuring world-class design standards. The role demands data storytelling, fast-paced delivery and strong UI/UX collaboration with Tech

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Graphic Design or related field.
5+ years of professional design experience with a strong, diverse portfolio.
2+ years leading or managing designers, ideally in a high-growth or data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain and evolve Benchmark's global visual identity across touchpoints.
Oversee production of infographics, charts, diagrams and data visualisations.
Lead design delivery for multiple projects with high quality and timeliness.
Own the production of digital assets for web, social, newsletters, campaigns, editorial platforms and major events.
Build workflows, templates and systems to enhance efficiency and collaboration.
Manage design budgets, external agencies and freelancers as needed.
Partner with Marketing, Product, Sales, Editorial and Events to deliver impactful work.
Lead design execution for strategic, high-visibility projects from concept to delivery.
Collaborate with Technology/Product teams on UI/UX consistency using Figma and Zeplin.
Review and feedback on design work at all stages to ensure brand standards.
