Design & Technical Coordinator | Maidenhead | Residential Conversions & New Builds | Nov 2025

This is a growing main contractor based in Maidenhead, delivering residential and mixed-use projects across the South East from office-to-resi conversions to new build schemes up to £15m.

You'll take ownership of design coordination across multiple projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings, compliance, and buildability all align through pre-construction and delivery.

The Role

• Manage design development from tender through construction across residential schemes up to £15m
• Coordinate architects, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical queries and design changes
• Review drawings, specifications, and information for buildability, compliance, and value engineering
• Lead design meetings and liaise with site and commercial teams to align programme and cost objectives
• Support pre-construction activities and contribute to tender submissions where required

• Main contracting background (essential)
• 510 years' experience as a Design Manager or Senior Design Coordinator
• Strong technical knowledge of residential construction and conversion projects
• Confident managing consultants and design deliverables independently
• Organised, collaborative, and proactive in resolving design and buildability challenges
