Senior Design Manager - Substations - Up to £90,000 DOE + Package

First Tasks Professional are currently working alongside a business that is anticipating an extremely busy 5‑year period after recent successful tenders for frameworks in the power sector. They are looking to build a team in the Scottish market permanently due to this success – this will include a Senior Design Manager with previous experience in the Power sector.

What are they looking for?
  • Familiarity with pre‑construction and tender design appointments
  • Knowledge and experience in the energy sector, particularly with substations
  • Proficient in working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts and managing associated change processes
  • Skilled in appointing design consultants and overseeing scope and programme management
  • Strong understanding of design management processes and procedures
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) is advantageous
