Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Design Manager for a major healthcare project in Birmingham. You will lead the design process, coordinating architectural, structural and MEP disciplines, while ensuring buildability, compliance and programme adherence.

The role focuses on refurbishment, remediation and fit-out works in a live healthcare environment, demanding robust stakeholder management and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Proven design management experience in construction projects.
• Experience delivering healthcare refurbishments or fit-out works.
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and healthcare standards.

Responsibilities

• Own the design process from concept to completion.
• Coordinate Architectural, Structural and MEP teams.
• Lead design delivery across feasibility, detailed design, construction and handover.
• Manage programmes of corrective and remedial works and buildability reviews.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Commercial, Planning and Site teams to resolve design challenges.
