As a Senior Design Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality technical designs, proposals and quotation for sewage and surface water pumping systems. You will provide technical leadership, ensuring timely and accurate outputs that meet client needs and company objectives.

This senior position contributes directly to the company’s operational success, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth. You will also support strategic development, team leadership, and uphold the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality in accordance with legislation and company policy.

Salary and Package

Basic salary -£50k - £70k + Company Car

Key Attributes and Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in wastewater pumping system design.
• Strong knowledge of UK water industry standards and Codes of Adoption.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with design and estimating software (e.g., simPRO, AutoCAD).
• Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.
• Reliable under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
