Job description

I'm representing a well-funded AI startup in Central London building a next-generation enterprise AI platform, bringing people, autonomous agents and business-critical systems together.

Most engineers build what designers imagine. Most designers imagine what engineers build. The exceptional few can do both.

That's exactly who we're looking for.

We're looking for an exceptional Senior Design Engineer who can take complex product challenges from initial concept and interaction design through to beautifully executed, production-ready code.

A very attractive package including equity, with the opportunity to join a business with genuine unicorn ambitions.

The key skills we're looking for:

• Frontend engineering: Strong TypeScript, Vue 3, Tailwind CSS and modern frontend development.
• Product design: Exceptional UI/UX judgement, Figma expertise and an outstanding eye for typography, layout and interaction.
• Design systems: Experience building scalable component libraries and maintaining consistency between design and production code.
• AI-native interfaces: The ability to design intuitive experiences around AI agents, human collaboration, approvals and complex workflows.
• End-to-end ownership: Rapid prototyping, sophisticated interactions and the ability to ship polished, production-grade products independently.

Why this opportunity stands apart:

You’ll work closely with the Chief Product Officer and engineering leadership, with genuine ownership over how people interact with AI in an enterprise environment.

This isn’t about implementing somebody else’s designs or handing prototypes over to engineering.

It’s about defining how the next generation of enterprise AI products should look, feel and function.
