Job summary

Flow Recruitment is seeking a Senior Deputy Nursery Manager for a busy nursery network in the UK. You will support the Manager with daily operations, leading a small team and ensuring high standards of care and learning.

The role requires strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding understanding and experience in managing a room or team. A current First Aid certificate and a genuine commitment to partnership with parents are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 childcare and education qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience managing a room or team in a nursery.
• Formal management qualification desirable.
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Sound safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support EYFS implementation including planning and record keeping.
• Promote partnership with parents and carers.
• Maintain professional relationships with Local Authority, regulatory bodies and other agencies.
• Remain abreast of current childcare and education policies and practices.
• Assist Manager with nursery accounts and management information.
• Prepare and deliver regular staff, planning and parent meetings and other events.
