Job summary

Hampshire and IOW NHS Healthcare Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Dentist to provide clinical leadership within Special Care Dental Services and to support delivery of community and specialist dental GA services. You will lead the dental teams, delivering high quality care to adults and children with complex needs and a range of medical co-morbidities.

The post requires GDC registration, a valid performer number, and a driving licence.

Qualifications

• GDC registration with valid performer number.
• Specialist list for Special Care Dentistry.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience leading dental teams with adults/children with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within General Anaesthesia across Special Care Dental clinics.
• Lead dental teams and provide specialist advice, treatment and guidance.
• Deliver high quality dental care for adults and children with special needs.
• Manage patients with complex medical co-morbidities and dental needs.
