Job summary

Sopra Steria’s Aerospace, Defence and Security business is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design and lead secure, end-to-end solutions for Defence and National Security programmes across the UK. You’ll own architecture across business, application, data, infrastructure, security and service, working with customers and delivery teams, with regular travel along the M3/M4 corridor.

The role invites candidates who can contribute to bids, design principles, and secure-by-design

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence/regulated environments with secure architectures.
• Ability to own end-to-end solution designs across multiple domains.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks and modelling approaches.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for Defence programmes.
• Define architecture and high-level designs meeting requirements.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions and guide delivery.
• Provide technical leadership with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Support bids, pre-sales and growth opportunities with compelling architectures.
• Review solutions and ensure alignment with standards and secure-by-design principles.
