Job summary

Mott MacDonald Ltd. is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex defence infrastructure programmes in the UK. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects meet safety, security, time, cost and quality objectives.

You will operate in secure environments, drive governance and reporting, and mentor junior project managers while supporting business development in defence, government, nuclear, aviation, rail or similar sectors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management/Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered status or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience delivering defence or large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, secure delivery of defence infrastructure projects on time, cost and quality.
• Manage projects through full lifecycle from feasibility to handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and client/stakeholder interfaces.
• Oversee contractor performance and contract administration under NEC forms.
• Ensure governance, assurance and reporting are established across projects.
• Lead risk and change management within secure environments.
