A leading care provider in Ilford is seeking a Senior Day Coach to support children with learning disabilities. The role involves mentoring junior staff and ensuring a positive, engaging environment for young people. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience and be confident in handling challenging behaviours. The position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, including training support and private healthcare.
A Senior Day Coach at SuperCare provides experience, guidance, and reassurance in the middle of a busy day. You'll be alongside children who are energetic, sometimes aggressive, and always in need of constant engagement. You'll be hands-on, but you'll also be a steady influence for newer staff - showing them how to respond to challenging behaviours, how to use social stories, and how to keep a bubbly, warm atmosphere even when the day feels tough.
You won't lead the shift, but you'll be the experienced anchor that helps the team stay steady and effective.
Your day will involve supporting children directly while also mentoring junior colleagues through example and encouragement.
This role needs someone who is confident in their skills and willing to share their experience with others while remaining hands-on.
As a Senior Day Coach, you'll be recognised for your experience and given training and development to help you take the next step into leadership.
Please apply for this role if you're passionate about supporting young people with learning disabilities and complex needs. If you'd like
