Job summary

Harnham in Leicester is seeking a data-driven professional to build and deploy advanced machine learning solutions that support pricing and risk decision-making.

You will own the ML lifecycle from exploration to deployment, craft features for pricing algorithms, and collaborate with Data Scientists, Engineers, and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, Azure ML, Git, and the ability to translate complex concepts for non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience delivering ML projects from exploration through deployment.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning, Azure cloud technologies, and Git.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary data and analytics teams.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to deliver high-quality analytical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for risk, claims outcomes, fraud detection, and key business metrics.
• Create and maintain analytical tools for portfolio management and commercial performance.
• Identify, evaluate, and extract value from new data sources.
• Engineer new features and rating factors to enhance pricing algorithms.
• Manage the full ML lifecycle from exploration to deployment, monitoring, and refresh."
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Analysts, and stakeholders to translate challenges into solutions.
• Explore emerging ML techniques and assess their commercial applications.
