• Mentor more junior team members.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting work.

Responsibilities

• Develop complex, novel data science solutions.
• Undertake research and AI / ML tasks.
• Provide technical leadership in small project groups.
• Work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Deliver AI / ML / Data Science solutions in defence.

Skills

PhD or Masters degree highlighting experience of academic research

Experience using robust ML pipelines

Working knowledge of Linux systems

Experience of deploying AI models

Experience working in Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Research publications in peer reviewed journals

Comfortable following agile processes

Experience of delivering AI / ML projects

Existing network of contacts in defence

Experience writing technical project proposals
