Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead data-driven AI initiatives within UK Insurance and healthcare domains. You will manage end-to-end ML projects, build scalable pipelines, and advance Generative AI capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates combine deep technical expertise with commercial acumen, mentoring others and driving business impact in a hybrid work environment across multiple UK locations.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end ML solutions with deployment and monitoring.
• Proficient in MLOps and scale-out ML workflows.
• Experience in healthcare/insurance or regulated domains is a plus.
• Strong Python/SQL programming and data engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy ML models across full lifecycle.
• Deliver actionable insights from healthcare/insurance data to stakeholders.
• Lead projects from concept to business adoption.
• Develop and maintain MLOps governance and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cloud, IT and analytics teams to support AI workloads.
