THE TEAM

Our R&D team is responsible for designing, developing, and evolving the internal products that power our business. As a B2B company specialising in second‑hand luxury items, we rely on technology to optimise every stage of our operations, from buying and inbound logistics to selling and post‑sales support. We are a global team with members across Portugal, Brazil, and the Philippines.

THE ROLE

As a Data Scientist you will be part of a multidisciplinary team within the Data cluster, responsible for the development of strategic data products to enable company competitiveness and analytical insights collaborating closer with the R&D Products line. We're looking for a team player that is passionate about tech products and is looking for eager opportunities to grow.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Collaboratively design, build, and maintain solutions within our platform using multiple tools applying statistical approaches and machine learning techniques.
  • Working closely with our Engineers and Analysts in highly impactful and complex challenges. Design, Build and Expand our data products, taking them to the next level while using state‑of‑the‑art technologies.
  • Perform analysis and experiments that allow the team to identify opportunities and follow new implementations contributing directly to the evolution of our data products.
WHO YOU ARE
  • You have a degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Machine Learning or equivalent specialized training/certification.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the role or similar with proven experience on data science environments, building and architecture production‑level data products.
  • You're capable to design, model, develop, test and maintain machine learning solutions and you have the experience to productize these solutions.
  • You have experience in SQL and Python programming (familiar with TensorFlow and other machine learning libraries).
  • You've a strong sense of the data lifecycle and you're obsessed with data quality.
  • Proactive mindset regarding AI tools and solutions with high impact for the business and productivity.
  • You are problem solving oriented and you're also comfortable speaking English.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud environments.
