Vodafone Group Plc in London is seeking a senior programme manager to oversee the Data Management Risk Programme within Group Data & Analytics. Group Data & Analytics drives the overall Vodafone Data Strategy and is implementing various initiatives to transform the ways of working within the team and in all of Vodafone on the journey to become a fully digitised and data-driven company.
The Data Management Risk Programme has been put in place to take Vodafone’s exposure to this risk into tolerance levels. The programme is composed of multiple projects and initiatives, involving the Privacy, Cyber Security, Corporate Security, Data Governance and other business areas.
The role owner will oversee the multiple projects under the Data Management Risk Programme, set goals, tasks, timelines, review progress, and adjust as necessary. The role will also be responsible for leading the long-term adoption of Data Management Risk Councils and Working Groups in Local Markets; as well as providing advice to decision makers and stakeholders steering the priorities of Data Management Risk activities.
The role owner will need to ensure that the compliance requirements are embedded in all implementation programmes. The role will therefore include working with very senior stakeholders on director level in functions in both Vodafone Group Services and in local markets of all business areas on a regular basis.
