• Commercial and strategic mindset to grow the practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead on data disclosures and transfers across jurisdictions.
• Draft and negotiate data protection clauses in commercial agreements.
• Advise on data protection consents, policies, and compliance frameworks.
• Provide guidance on data protection in disputes.
• Manage Data Subject Access Requests and data rights.
• Ensure direct marketing compliance under GDPR and PECR.
• Conduct GDPR compliance audits and client training.
• Handle ICO investigations and regulatory interactions.
• Advise on data breaches and response strategies.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments to identify risks.
• Oversee data protection aspects of database sales/purchases.
• Review website privacy notices and cookie compliance.
