Job summary

EXL (NASDAQ: EXLS) is seeking an experienced Engagement Manager to lead a strategic data modernisation engagement for a large financial services client in the UK. The role is hybrid (London or Halifax) with travel to Halifax, and requires an immediate start.

The successful candidate will manage client relationships, delivery governance, and a programme involving ~40 resources onsite and offshore. 16+ years in IT and 5+ years in client-facing engagement are essential, with SAS-to-Cloud and GCP

Qualifications

16+ years of overall IT experience with 5+ years in client-facing engagement or programme management.
Proven experience managing large-scale Data Migration and Data Modernisation programmes.
Experience leading delivery teams of 30+ resources across global locations.
Strong background in banking, financial services, or insurance domains.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary engagement lead and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale data migration and modernisation programmes.
Establish governance, KPIs, budgets, and risk management processes.
Drive offshore-onshore collaboration and mentor delivery managers and architects.
Coordinate with architecture, engineering, testing, DevOps, and operations teams.
