Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Senior Data Manager to support pipeline management in a hybrid role based in London/Leeds. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing data integrity and provide guidance for project managers while overseeing daily pipeline activities. Candidates should have significant experience in operational delivery and program management and demonstrate strong analytical and engagement skills. This role offers a competitive daily rate and initial 4-month contract.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Pipeline Management in embedding the Single Pipeline.
  • Improve and maintain the integrity of data in the Single Pipeline.
  • Ensure comprehensive business-led guidance for project managers.
  • Work with Approval Operations to align pipeline and investment processes.
  • Support BIL-related activities and manage up to 2 FTEs.

Senior Data Manager – Pipeline Management

Hybrid - London/Leeds etc • Initial 4 months • £500-550/day inside IR35

Accountabilities & Responsibilities
  • To support the Head of Pipeline Management to embed the Single Pipeline as the single source of projects for all supply-side programmes.
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for improving and maintaining the integrity of the data in the Single Pipeline through direct engagement with project managers and those teams providing delivery support to DIMPP.
  • To ensure that the management of all pipeline-related activity is undertaken with reference and adherence to relevant business processes, providing support and guidance where necessary.
  • To ensure that at all times, up-to-date, comprehensive, business-led guidance (working with wider DES colleagues), support and MI is available for project managers and other colleagues (such as Performance / senior leadership).
  • To work closely with the Approval Operations team in DES to ensure alignment of pipeline and investment decision-making processes to enable efficient and effective fund delivery to support partner and place priorities.
  • To support the Head of Strategic Programme and Pipeline Management in all BIL-related activity.
  • Line management of up to 2 FTEs
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Relevant professional qualification or alternatively equivalent experience is welcomed.
  • Significant experience in working as part of multi-disciplinary teams, involving operational delivery and/or programme management.
  • Demonstrable engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to take an analytical and structured approach to tasks and activities.
