Job summary

Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is seeking a Senior Data Governance Manager to help shape the future of data governance across the organisation. You will lead governance priorities, design innovative solutions, and collaborate with senior leaders to ensure data is managed, protected and used responsibly.

Qualifications

• Lead and deliver data governance priorities across DWP to support data protection, quality and compliant use.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive engagement and improved data outcomes.
• Act as a subject matter expert, advise on frameworks, standards and best practice.
• Support professional development and qualifications within the Data Office community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver data governance priorities that support effective management, protection and legitimate use of data across DWP.
• Design and implement solutions to address governance challenges and support CDO priorities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to drive engagement and improved data outcomes across the organisation.
• Provide specialist guidance and promote good practice to evolve governance frameworks and standards.
• Contribute to the Data Governance Manager community by sharing expertise and supporting continual improvement.
• Work across governance priorities within the Chief Data Office, with opportunities to broaden expertise in areas like Data Quality or Data Sharing Governance.
