Job summary

Stable is seeking a Senior Data Consultant to manage governance of business data within an assigned domain. The role blends technical data expertise with governance leadership to bridge business users, data teams and Information & Knowledge Management teams.

Ideal candidates will have experience in data architecture, data engineering, data analysis or related disciplines and familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Power Automate to enable data management and governance at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in data architecture, data engineering, data analysis or related disciplines.
• Strong technical aptitude with interest in data management and governance.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, SharePoint or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Senior Data Consultant for an assigned business domain and govern data usage.
• Create and maintain data catalogues, data dictionaries and business glossaries.
• Define and maintain data policies, retention, archiving and disposal.
• Define data backup, recovery and resilience requirements and validate processes.
• Monitor backup integrity and support data protection arrangements.
• Manage data access controls to protect sensitive information.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to apply governance across the domain.
• Support data audit, monitoring and compliance activities.
• Work with Data Architects, Data Engineers and KM teams to translate governance into controls.
