Qualifications

• Experience leading a data engineering team.
• Strong Azure Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics knowledge.
• Advanced SQL Server development skills (T-SQL, stored procedures).
• Experience designing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Experience developing Azure-based data integration solutions.
• Previous team leadership or people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team of Data Engineers.
• Design, build and support Azure Data Pipelines and Data Flows.
• Develop and expand enterprise data warehouse solutions, integrating new data sources and datasets.
• Create, maintain and optimise complex SQL stored procedures, views and functions.
• Improve the performance and structure of data warehouse and reporting environments.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and development standards.
