A leading regulated financial services organization in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to shape and implement cloud data engineering solutions. The successful candidate will utilize Snowflake and lead migrations of ETL processes while mentoring junior engineers. Required skills include strong knowledge of data engineering, Snowflake, and advanced SQL. Qualifications

• Strong experience in data engineering and data warehousing.
• Experience with Snowflake including performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python.
• Advanced SQL skills essential.
• Experience with DBT and modern data pipeline tools.
• Strong knowledge of file formats (ORC, Parquet, AVRO).
• Experience with DevOps practices and containerization technologies.
• Proven track record of stakeholder management.
• Experience working in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka, Spark, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI integration.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities
