Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in London to build and evolve a modern, scalable AWS cloud data platform. You will design and maintain data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and processing workflows while migrating datasets into a unified architecture.

Key focus areas include PostgreSQL and time-series data management, data quality, governance, and platform reliability. Flexible London hybrid work with three days in the office and two work-from-home days.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines in finance/FinTech environments.
• Strong SQL and Python coding skills.
• Strong AWS experience, including Data Lakes and S3.
• Experience building and supporting large-scale data pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with times series data (TimescaleDB or similar).
• Experience with orchestration platforms such as Dagster or Airflow.
• Collaborative with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines, ingestion frameworks and processing workflows.
• Support migration of datasets into unified data architecture.
• Collaborate with Data Platform Engineer on platform design, data modelling and database optimisation.
• Onboard new data sources and ensure data quality, governance, reliability, and scalability.
