Job summary

Auction Technology Group (ATG) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build production-grade data products powering analytics, search, and personalization. You will collaborate with product managers, analysts, data scientists, ML engineers, and software engineers to turn ambiguous needs into dependable datasets and pipelines.

This hands-on role emphasizes maintainability, data quality, and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of production data pipelines experience.
• Strong Python and advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with Snowflake or cloud data platforms.
• Production experience with dbt and Airflow/Dagster/Prefect.
• Knowledge of AWS data services and cloud storage.
• Understanding of data quality, lineage, observability, and governance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate batch and event-driven pipelines.
• Develop reusable transformation models in Snowflake/dbt for analytics and operational use cases.
• Orchestrate complex dependencies with Airflow, Dagster, or a comparable workflow platform.
• Design data models and interfaces that are clear, scalable, and easy for downstream teams to use.
