Job summary

Leap29 is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer for a 6-month contract in London. You will design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Python, Databricks or Snowflake, and modern ETL technologies.

You will work across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), apply data modelling and quality controls, implement CI/CD, and contribute to cloud data architecture and governance.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL experience.
• Hands-on Databricks and Snowflake experience.
• Cloud platforms experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD and collaborative engineering.
• PySpark and Delta Lake experience.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Cloud data architecture and governance.
• Experience mentoring engineers and working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimise scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions.
• Work with Python, Databricks or Snowflake, and modern ETL technologies to deliver reliable data platforms.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to data governance and quality.
