Job summary

FSP is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data & AI function in the UK. You will work with architects and consultants to deliver cloud-based data solutions across multiple platforms and stacks, enabling automated decision making.

You will mentor others, lead technical design discussions, and drive data lakehouse patterns, PySpark, Delta Live Tables and data governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale data engineering solutions.
• Strong Python and SQL development background.
• Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Lakehouse patterns and Medallion Architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering projects and mentor team members.
• Design data solutions across cloud platforms with architects and consultants.
• Develop high-quality data products using lakehouse patterns.
• Implement Medallion Architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure data governance and security.
