Job summary

Qureight is expanding its data engineering team in the UK, focusing on automated data pipelines for clinical trials that involve medical imaging data (DICOM) and clinical metadata. You will work with the Clinical Operations team to improve systems within the regulatory framework and ensure data quality and reproducibility across multiple trials.

The Senior Data Engineer will design and implement trial-specific pipelines, collaborate across functions, and help scale our data platform to support

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer in complex, data-rich environments.
• Strong Python skills in a commercial setting.
• Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines in regulated environments.
• Experience implementing data validation and quality checks in production pipelines.
• Experience with automation/orchestration tools and cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborative mindset with attention to data provenance and usability.
• Experience with medical imaging data (CT, MRI) in DICOM format.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy and maintain trial-specific data pipelines meeting study protocol requirements.
• Collaborate with Clinical Operations, Infrastructure, Data Science and Data Management to build needed tooling.
• Integrate DICOM imaging with clinical metadata for robust data delivery.
• Create scalable pipelines with built-in quality and compliance from the start.
• Own data delivery for projects and influence regulatory compliance automation.
• Review code and mentor less experienced engineers.
