Job summary

Acora is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to shape and deliver Data & AI solutions end-to-end, acting as a trusted SME for technical guidance. The role focuses on Azure and Microsoft Fabric expertise to support best-practice implementation.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor peers, and drive practical delivery architectures while building knowledge around AI agents within Azure.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering Data & AI solutions end-to-end.
• Strong Azure platform expertise and cloud data governance.
• Ability to mentor engineers and share best practices across delivery teams.
• Proven problem-solving skills in complex data architectures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from a technical and customer-facing perspective with quality and timeliness.
• Apply best practices and robust solutions across data pipelines.
• Implement data governance and security best practices.
• Lead design workshops and advise on practical technical options.
• Apply data modelling, ETL and analytics expertise to solve complex problems.
• Design, implement and manage Azure-based solutions with Fabric or Databricks focus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
• Develop exposure to AI agent implementations within Azure.
