Job summary

IntaPeople Limited is looking for a mid-senior level Data Engineer to join their digital engineering team. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and work primarily within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The position offers a salary in the range of £55,000 - £60,000, along with an annual bonus scheme, private medical care, and hybrid working arrangements. Ideal candidates should have strong experience in Python, SQL Server, and Azure Data Factory.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Python-based ETL pipelines.
• Account for and lead SQL development.
• Develop data lake within Azure Synapse.
• Meet with business stakeholders to define requirements.
• Produce technical documentation including data dictionaries.

Skills

Strong Python experience for data engineering

Strong experience working with SQL Server

Strong experience working with Azure Data Factory

Hands-on experience with data lake platforms

Experience with tooling such as CI/CD pipelines

The ability to lead feature specifications

Adopting an AI-first approach to development
