NRL in the United Kingdom seeks a data engineer who has built Azure-based data platforms for major infrastructure programmes. You will design pipelines integrating cost, schedule and risk data and deliver robust data foundations for Power BI dashboards used by programme leaders.
You'll work primarily remotely with occasional Warrington workshops, collaborating with planners, commercial teams and risk managers to translate requirements into governed data flows and enterprise datasets.
Have you built data solutions for major infrastructure or capital delivery programmes?
Do you understand project controls data – cost, schedule, risk, change – and can you design Azure-based platforms that give programme leaders accurate, actionable insights? If so, we want to talk to you.
This is not a generic data engineering role – our client needs someone who combines hands-on Azure experience with project environment knowledge (construction/infrastructure/energy/nuclear preferred) to deliver robust data foundations for reporting across NEC, Primavera P6, and other industry tools.
You’ll be working mostly remotely but expected to attend occasional sessions in Warrington for mobilisation workshops, project reviews, or key delivery milestones.
As part of a digital project controls transformation, you’ll create data pipelines and models underpinning critical reporting on multi-billion-pound projects in regulated sectors. Your work will bring together data from cost, schedule, and risk systems into governed layers ready for Power BI dashboards used by programme leadership.
