Job summary

IntaPeople Limited is recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to join a collaborative data platform team developing business-critical data products and services. The successful candidate will design, develop and maintain robust data solutions supporting a wide range of business and customer-facing applications.

You will mentor junior engineers, work with cloud technologies, and help drive best practice in data quality, platform performance and data modelling within a hybrid, two-office-per-week setup.

• Strong SQL skills with complex data manipulation and performance tuning.
• Proven experience building and supporting ETL/data pipelines.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Commercial experience with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data modelling principles.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

We’re recruiting a Senior Data Engineer to join a collaborative data platform team developing business-critical data products and services.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced data professional who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building scalable pipelines and working with modern cloud technologies. The successful candidate will play a key role in the ongoing development, optimisation and support of an established data platform while also mentoring more junior engineers within the team.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining robust data solutions that support a wide range of business and customer-facing applications.

Working closely with engineers, analysts and stakeholders, you’ll help drive best practice across data engineering, data quality and platform performance whilst contributing to the evolution of the organisation’s data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain ETL and data integration solutions
• Build and optimise scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python

• Work with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
