Job summary

Jackson Hogg Ltd is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to help evolve a cloud-first data platform in Sunderland. You will design scalable data pipelines, integrate multiple sources and deliver trusted datasets for analytics and reporting across the business.

Working with data engineers, BI specialists and stakeholders, you’ll contribute to governance, testing, and performance improvements within an Azure-based data estate while maintaining documentation and data lineage.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL development skills.
• Experience with Python or a similar programming language.
• Data engineering or data integration experience.
• Understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Experience implementing data validation and testing processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
