Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Customer Data Science team in London. You will design, build and maintain robust data pipelines and data products that enable advanced analytics and decision making across the organisation.

Working closely with data scientists, product and partners, you will own end-to-end data engineering, including Airflow orchestration, Databricks applications and user-facing data solutions.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to work alongside our Customer Data Science team designing, building and maintaining robust, scalable data solutions that enable advanced decision making across the organisation. This data engineering role will be focused on enabling data scientists to work effectively through reliable data foundations, well-orchestrated workflows and collaborative delivery.

Summary

The role spans the full stack of data product development - from data ingestion, transformation and orchestration through to APIs, event-driven architectures, Databricks applications and user-facing solutions. Working closely with data scientists, product and partners, you will engage with a wide range of business and technical challenges, bringing strong technical ownership, proactive problem-solving and a focus on sustainable engineering practices. What You'll Do

• Proactive problem solver who focuses on root-cause analysis, resolution, and the identification of practical, effective solutions.
• Adaptable, curious, and committed to continuous learning in changing environments, with desirable exposure to MLOps concepts and tooling and an understanding of how data engineering supports data science delivery.
