Job summary

Ventula Consulting is recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer in London on a hybrid basis, 2 to 3 days per week, for a 12-month contract at a day rate of £650 (Outside IR35). The role focuses on building a modern, scalable data platform for a globally recognised travel organisation.

You will work with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data products and pipelines, modernise legacy systems and implement an Event Sourcing architecture using Python and SQL,

Qualifications

• 5+ years' Data Engineering experience
• Advanced Python & SQL
• Strong data modelling and data platform knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Data ingestion via APIs, databases or other sources

Responsibilities

• Build high-quality data products and pipelines, while helping modernise legacy systems and develop a modern Event Sourcing architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions and support the data platform evolution.
