Job summary

SSQ is seeking a Data/Cyber Associate at the 1-4 PQE level to join its UK firm. The role splits duties across Data Advisory (GDPR, AI governance, adtech) and Cyber & Breach Response, offering exposure to consumer brands, insurers, and not-for-profits.

Candidates from in-house or private practice backgrounds are welcome, with a 50/50 split between data and cyber matters. The team works across three strands and provides a broad, cross-disciplinary platform for growth.

Qualifications

• 1–4 PQE in data/cyber law
• Experience in GDPR/data privacy and cyber matters
• Open to in-house or private practice background

Responsibilities

• Advise on data privacy and AI governance issues across clients
• Manage data disputes and cyber breach response matters
• Support cross-practice teams in broad consumer brands, insurers, NFP clients
