Job summary

Sustainable Infrastructure seeks an experienced Commissioning Manager to join the Blyth project site. You will lead commissioning engineers, define scopes, and drive the M&E commissioning programme across the data centre build, coordinating with vendors, designers and the client.

The role demands strong leadership, robust M&E knowledge, and proven ability to manage schedules, risks and documentation in a multi-contractor environment. On-site work is required in Blyth, UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 5+ years in a commissioning leadership role within data centre or mission-critical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and supervise Commissioning Engineers across the project.
• Define commissioning scopes and manage delivery against the strategy and programme.
• Monitor milestones, progress and deadlines, proactively identify and manage risks.
• Coordinate schedules with internal teams, vendors and client stakeholders.
• Act as key point of contact for the client regarding commissioning activities.
• Prepare and submit commissioning progress and technical reports.
• Ensure project quality objectives are achieved in collaboration with QA/QC.
