Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to review Bills of Materials, project roadmaps, and available resources to understand project scope.
  • Ability to troubleshoot standard and non-standard cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
  • Ability to independently manage work, timelines, and deliverables while adapting to resource or schedule changes.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to designs for structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
  • Deploy physical plant cabling systems as instructed.
  • Adhere to global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
  • Troubleshoot cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
  • Implement infrastructure for our data centers.
  • Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions to support continuous improvement of data centers.
  • Review Bills of Materials, resources, and project roadmaps to align project scope with business needs.
  • Prioritize customer experience in project planning and delivery.
  • Build relationships with Program Management teams to support completion of project deliverables on time.
  • Report on and document project updates, status, and roadblocks.
  • Maintain documentation on cabling and build standards for data center infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with vendors to support the buildout of data center infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal project stakeholders.
  • Proactively prioritize work and adapt to shifting resources or timelines to keep projects on track.
  • Contribute ideas for process, protocol, and workflow improvements.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members.
