Job summary

Datatech Analytics is seeking a Senior Data & BI Engineer to drive the transition from SQL Server to a modern Azure-based data platform. You will build governed data pipelines, craft trusted Power BI products, and work with senior stakeholders to standardise KPIs across multiple markets.

The role is hands-on across the full data lifecycle, mentoring engineers and raising engineering standards while delivering scalable data products and analytics capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong production experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark and SQL.
• Advanced Power BI, DAX, semantic-modelling and row-level security experience.
• Confidence working directly with senior Sales, Marketing or Operations stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring others and establishing reusable engineering standards.
• Commercial analytics experience within performance marketing or contact-centre operations.

Responsibilities

• Create dimensional models, semantic layers and advanced DAX measures.

An established financial-services business is looking for a Senior Data & BI Engineer to help lead its transition from SQL Server to a modern data platform built around Azure Databricks, Python and Power BI.

This is a broad, hands-on role covering the full data lifecycle. You’ll build governed pipelines and data models, create trusted Power BI products and work directly with senior stakeholders to define consistent KPIs across multiple international markets.
