Job summary

Telefónica Tech UK&I hub is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Engineer to design, build, and continuously improve analytics data products across the full platform lifecycle, translating business requirements into production-grade data models and reports.

As a senior member of the team, you will lead a small group of engineers, mentor colleagues, and foster a culture of quality and collaboration while building trusted relationships with business stakeholders and communicating complex data solutions

Qualifications

• Experience translating business requirements into data models and reports.
• Proven ability to design and deliver data pipelines end-to-end.
• Strong collaboration with business stakeholders and data teams.
• Leadership experience in mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ingestion pipelines across sources using ADF and Databricks.
• Develop data transformations and modelling for data marts.
• Lead platform evolution and mentor engineers on standards and practices.
• Collaborate with product owners to align data contracts and reporting needs.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders with clear documentation.
