Job summary

Nationwide is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in the Insider Risk team to connect data across Security, Fraud, People, Legal, Technology and more to identify patterns and support better decision-making.

You will transform fragmented information into clear, actionable intelligence using SQL, Python and Power BI, helping detect and respond to workforce-related risk. The role involves collaboration across Nationwide and Virgin Money, with a 12-month secondment and hybrid working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience using SQL, Python and BI tools to transform data into insights.
• Experience bringing together large datasets from multiple domains to generate risk intelligence.
• Strong communication skills to translate findings for senior audiences.

• Own stitching data from multiple sources to produce actionable risk insights.
• Transform complex datasets into intelligence to identify emerging risks and trends.
• Support governance, monitoring, automation and reporting capabilities for insider risk.
