MoonPay in London with flexible Europe-wide remote options seeks a Senior Data Analyst to shape product decisions through data, experimentation, and stakeholder collaboration.

You'll join the centralized Product Data team, owning analytics across the full product lifecycle, from problem framing to launch, measurement, and optimization at scale.

Your work will influence product strategy, customer experience, and business health, building reusable AI-assisted analytics that empower the wider org.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience as data analyst/scientist in a product-focused role.
• Advanced SQL and data visualization are second nature.
• Experience building data models in a modern cloud warehouse using dbt with BigQuery or Snowflake.
• Solid grasp of statistics and experiment design (A/B and quasi-experiments).
• Working understanding of payments/fintech operations (fraud, KYC/AML, payment success rates).
• Comfort using AI-assisted analytics and building scalable, reusable skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management, including C-level exposure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to run rigorous analyses and translate into recommendations.
• Define, document, and maintain metric definitions and business context for stakeholders.
• Set up tracking for new launches and measure KPI impact.
• Build a reporting layer with alerting and root-cause analysis.
• Design, run, and interpret experiments (A/B, quasi-experiments).
• Model robust data in dbt/BigQuery, ensuring quality with tests and docs.
• Create reusable AI-assisted analytics skills for self-serve.
• Communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
