Job summary

McCabe & Barton is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Data, Intelligence & Analytics team, supporting data transformation and technology initiatives as a key business partner to stakeholders.

Role involves owning data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and building dashboards with tools like Power BI, Alteryx, or Qlik. Experience with Databricks, Python, SQL, and AI in a financial services context is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in analytics/intelligence within asset management or financial services.
• University degree in an analytical-related subject (minimum 2:1).

Responsibilities

• Own the design, development, and oversight of data transformation pipelines.
• Analyse large datasets to identify and resolve data quality issues; trace discrepancies to source and implement fixes.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across platforms and vendors.
• Build and maintain visualisations, charts, and interactive dashboards.
• Translate complex data into business insights for senior stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies across Finance and other functions.
• Apply AI technologies to solve business problems and enhance reporting and decision-making.
• Collaborate with technology vendors and internal stakeholders to support data connectivity and platform integrations.
• Identify opportunities to embed AI within the firm's data and reporting environment.
