Job summary

Prima is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the UK Claims team. You will lead analytics efforts, build dashboards, and deliver deep-dive analyses to senior stakeholders, shaping strategic decisions for motor insurance growth in the UK.

You'll deploy robust data warehousing standards, define KPIs, and scale the analytics function as Prima expands. Hybrid work is available, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth within a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record (4+ years) in data analytics or data science with dashboards.
  • Experience leading a team of data scientists.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Databricks.
  • Experience in a growing/scale-up environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics standards for data warehousing, modelling, and data cleanliness to ensure a single, pristine source of truth.
  • Play a pivotal role in talent acquisition as the company expands providing inputs on capabilities and target personnel.
  • Define strategic metrics and KPIs for dashboards and analysis, translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business.

To help fuel that growth, we need a Senior Data Analyst to join our Claims UK team.

Our Claims Team is a pillar of our strategic plan for Prima’s future growth. In this role you will be instrumental in building dashboards, deep-dive analysis, and presenting findings to senior stakeholders. Key qualifications include strong SQL and Tableau skills, along with experience in analyzing large datasets.

What you'll do
  • Lead and set the standard: Act as the technical owner for the analytics team, establishing and enforcing robust standards for data warehousing architecture, data modelling, and data cleanliness to ensure a single, pristine source of truth
  • Build and Scale the Team: Play a pivotal role in talent acquisition as the company expands providing key inputs on required capabilities and target personnel
  • Define strategic metrics: Be instrumental in identifying and choosing the correct KPIs and metrics for dashboards and analysis, ensuring complex data structures are easily translatable into clear, actionable business insights
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders: Work closely with senior stakeholders across the business
What we're looking for
  • Proven track record (4+ years) in data science/data analytics, including building of live dashboards
  • Experience leading a team of data scientists
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and the Databricks environment
  • Comfortable working in a growing / scale-up business environment
  • Strong attention to detail, with a problem-solving attitude
